The County Town of Lewes, located within the South Downs National Park which runs from Hampshire into Sussex offers perhaps, the most stunning landscapes in the South East Of England. Lewes is well positioned to enable visitors to take full advantage of the scenic, cultural, historic and tourist attractions that are on offer.
Lewes itself is a most attractive town boasting a wealth of architecture, a Norman castle, parks and gardens, and is situated just off the A27 between Eastbourne and Brighton. The Seven Sisters country park is also nearby offering stunning views of the South coast. A visit to Lewes will allow you to explore an historic town, take short or longer walks in stunning scenery, visit the seaside towns of Eastbourne and Brighton or indulge in the cultural delights of the various festivals which take place annually.
